Meet Joe Haffner

Welcome to the official Toad Slacks Radio Network website. I'm the founder, owner, operator, manager and producer of all the programs you hear on this network. I got started in radio broadcasting in college (AM 570 - KCMC - Fayette, Missouri)  from 1992 - 1994. During my last semester in college and for nearly the next 12-years I worked at KWIX/KRES/KIRK radio in Moberly, Missouri. Following that, I worked as News Director at KIRX/KRXL/KTUF radio from late 2005 through most of 2006. I then went into podcasting in 2007 and have dabbled in it ever since. Toad Slacks Radio came about in June 2021 through July 2022. It has been on a break which is scheduled to end in January 2023. Toad Slacks Radio is an homage to the Frogpants network as well as a joke spoken by hosts Scott Johnson and Brian Ibbott of the aforementioned named network.
